Car bombs continue to be a recurring nuisance even after 2 decades of US operations in Afghanistan.

Didn't know 1 car bomb could be so deadly. Could depleted uranium side effects and/or extensive poppy farming be to blame, or something political?

No. No. ...and, no. The Afghans need to do this themselves. If they want training, fine. Send some of your troopies over here to Ft. Benning, or where ever else for training, then turn 'em loose.

DU or poppies? WTF? No. DU is largely a Iraqi issue. I don't know how much armor (tanks) were in Afghanistan where as in Iraq there was much more tank battles. I think there are 20 & 30mm DU rounds (helicopters & planes mostly) but it isn't like the country is blanketed in it - it's a large country - about the size of Texas. So it would take centuries/millennia of using DU rounds to cover that area - and even then it seems to be birth defects largely physical deformities.

Car bombs are a staple when fighting a superior force and it has many more benefits than just the immediate casualties/devastation. It's also one of the easiest methods of delivering a bomb - you have a guided explosive. How else are they going to make precision guided bombs - build an air force or build artillery?

One time I saw a video and the reporter asked the soldier when the jihad would end.

Actually, this is what to expect in the future from the likes of antifa and the left extremists.. unchecked, it will become a daily experience.

There has been a recent increase in attacks in Afghanistanby the Taliban. Prior to the car bombing in Kabul, Mujahid said that there had been52 operations within the past 24 hours, resulting in almost 200 people killed.
