Why are so many US military planes flying into Yamaguchi Prefecture

Is something going to take place with North Korea. The news is a bit quiet on this matter. It's fishing season and the boat captains are on the look out for suspicious looking boats in the China Sea.

Economy is really bad in South Korea and Japan, if it weren't for the tourist (25 million) hitting all the major cities, the economy too would sink real fast.

Something is cooking?

The aircraft that would be required to be part of anything are sitting tucked in at home, and haven't moved anywhere near the area. This is nothing but normal movements and exercises.

No.

If the USA was staging for a North Korea action, they would be in South Korea where we have more military bases than the Koreans.

Our military in Japan (mostly Marines) is a hold over from the world war, and likely is a staging area for any action in China.

In fact, China has been pushing for islands closer to Japan lately than ever before. They are making artificial islands, building them up and claiming it as Chinese.

If we have activity in Japan, it's for interdiction of China not North Korea.

There does to be an increase of military planes flying over my house. Maybe Zaphod can check out the flight patterns if in fact the volume has increase.

Nothing significant going on. They've been flying bomber missions out of the mainland US all over the world and integrating with various countries aircraft, testing some new old ideas. So far B-1s and B-52s have been around Japan and the South China Sea, B-1s, B-2s, and B-52s have been to Europe, and B-52s and B-2s up around Alaska and the Arctic, although the B-52s around Alaska actually staged out of Alaska instead of either Minot or Barksdale and returning home.
