Homo sapiens as a whole need to be "Baker Acted"

The "Baker Act" is a law in Florida that people whom are a threat to themselves or others get carted off to a psychiatric facility for at least 72 hours.

A fascinating concept.

As the most self-destructive species in the entire history of the entire known universe, talk about a slippery slope...

I mean initial thought, what about junkies. Sticking needles into their arm toying at death in a very real sense, every day, a threat to themself, Baker Act em!


And the drug dealers whom dont get high on their own supply, yet still a threat to others, Baker Act em!

But this opens up the larger War on Drugs (Wars of Drugs) issue, no?


Such as regular people whom vote to put people, such as potheads, into prison. Well prison is a dangerous place. These people (about half the population) are threats to others. Baker Act em!


Society now, pick one any one, all too ready to go to war and slaughter their fellow humans. Ready to put themselves into danger to murder other people?! Baker Act em!

Then again, all those explorers, they should have been Baker Acted. I mean these are people putting their lives at risk while inspiring others to join them.


We've got issues. Issues I say!

And its time for our comeuppance!

We had that in the UK for years, it worked to. Then a certain wo,an prime minister got in charge and closed all the psychiatric units and said theywould be better out. She named it care in the community. And we've been suffering since.
