Same here, and I am guilty of copy and paste. I generally stay away for MSM, and look into subjects myself.

Research.

I find alot more obscure news and Ideas for other places other than here.

Some many people stuck on the political stuff, they are ignoring the rest of whats going on.

And there is alot going on !

I remember it being around the English mandate. I suppose it was metered text messaging that caused the explosion of acronyms rather than Twitter. AAARMSWYPPC (Acronyms are a real money saver when you're paying per character).

IIRC still throws me sometimes; like "That's a religious order, I should know this."

I wish they could look him up again and ask him if he still likes turtles. The footage doesn't look that recent so I would guess he may well be an adult now who is possibly completely embarrassed by that interview and has changed his name legally 3 times.

Somedays I have to keep the Acronym dictionary open in order to read posts. Then people just seem to make up more on the fly. It took me a couple of years to figure out that LOL meant Laughing out Loud rather than Lots of Luck.

Yeah, I get fed up with TLAs, too.
