As far as Iranian threat to us, we're better off focusing on our vulnerable cyber space, as they could do more harm to us through that.

And those that are oppose to Iran having a nuke are welcome to take care of that themselves with their citizens tax dollars.

Defending Israel is another welfare entitlement handout courtesy of US Tax Payers.
Just like in our country, welfare should only be a hand up to get them on their feet, not a hand out for eternity like we have been doing for Israel.

Israel already has everything they need to take care of themselves and if they need more, they can cut the welfare programs and socialist health care and direct it to defense.

Decisions were made, and people realized there would be turmoil in that region. It's not up to us to keep siphoning money to a lost cause of a region.

I didn't say that.

Though if we were to weigh it, I think we've had more of a negative impact for our country and others post WWII with our foreign policy.

And whether our intentions were good or not, many of our actions created systemic problems we're still dealing with, like Iran and our influence there.
