Great ATS Debate: What should the semi-final topics be?

We're zeroing in on the semi-finals, and I don't have clear topic choices for this important round from the last series of votes.

Let's entertain topics... and please, no input for those currently debating... these could be your topics.

How about What is the meaning of Life?

or should we leave that till the final?

Is the UFO phonomena created by government X-Craft?

who really controls the US!

Hmmm, here goes:

1) The Philidelphia Project/Project Rainbow was not an experiment in space and time.

2) The UN is useless and should be dismantled.

3) The Star Wars Program is really designed and intended to prevent alien attack.

4) Global Warming is a prelude to human extinction.

5) 9/11 was allowed to happen.

6) Crop circles are messages from aliens.

7) How many licks does it really take to get to the center of a tootsie roll lollie pop? (You want a real conspiracy....this is one!?!)

Well, thats all I could think of, for now. Hope some are good enough for debate.

Seriously though, what about

"Is Area 51 a distraction designed to grab attention away from other installations?"

I agree with the "9/11 was allowed to happen" suggestion. This is highly debateable from both sides and has lots of information flowing around (some erroneous no doubt) to pull from. Additionally, if this conspiracy is true, people need to hear about it. This will bring some attention and focus to it.

Alternatively, I would like to see the following debated:

2012 will be the end of the world as we know it

I'm happy as long as it is not a US-centric topic like the ones on the IRS,US educational system,or Skull and bones.If I am declared the winner of my quarter final round I am very much looking forward to the Semi-final contest perhaps more so than if I were to reach the final.

Oh,I don't mind doing Aliens.

Do the tootise rool one. That would be hilarious seeing two people debate something like that.

Macintosh vs. Windows or Linux, which is the best operating system.


Do conspiracies really exist or do we just make them up to entertain ourselves.

I second the Mac vs. Win vs Linux, that should be a good one as well. as well as the Anti Christ is among us..there's a lot of good topics up for debate, I'm impressed

I would go for Windows Vs. Linux and 9'11 was Allowed.
