well, well, well... finally, there is people with a heart out there left.
I am a moose and deer hunter myself and I would not hesitate one second to shoot one (clean kill) BUT I do not hurt an animal and I also would've
done exactly what you guys did. BRAVO. Most MNR employees are just there for a pay check and it bothers me to see their lack of attention in cases
like this one. Many times they would rather kill the animal instead of trying to rescue it or show up later when they get around to it. Btw, I said
most MNR employees, not all.
I applaud you guys for washing that moose and letting it rest so it could go on its own. Most people don't realize but what would kill that animal
is to push it in the woods. That moose was exhausted and would have been a target by predators out in the wild. That is always my main concern when I
see people driving an atv or a truck chasing a moose for fun.
Thank you on that moose's behalf... long live the moose... king of the woods
