U.S. Bill of Rights, First Amendment, " . . . the right of the people peaceably to assemble". How is it we need paid permission to peaceably assemble?
As a right, we shouldn't even need a free permit to assemble peacefully. That has always bugged me about marches and protests, needing permits.
Also, if these "state sponsored" vendors have a permit to do business, doesn't that include some clause about littering that makes it their
responsibility? If these sponsored vendors don't have a clause like that in their permits, at the least that would have to be considered special
treatment, at the most it could be real proof of harassment.
