Internet Star Grumpy Cat has Died

Her owners say she died on Tuesday following complications from a recent urinary tract infection , she was aged 7.
Grumpy cat shot to fame in 2012 following pictures of her being posted online , her star potential obvious to anyone who saw her trademark scowl , a trademark that netted her two million Instagram followers and $710,000 from a coffee company who used her image without consent for an ad campaign.



RiP Grumpy Cat , you brought the world a little happiness with your meme worthy scowl and for that you of all the kitties out there will be remembered.

She always felt (typo I mean looked) like I feel most of the time, sad loss but let's hope she is chasing shoe laces in heaven.

I'm not surprised she died young. She always sort of looked like she was a bit ... special ... to have such a trademark look like that.

I'm sure she had the best of lives while she was here though. As much money as she made, her owners better have treated her like a queen.
