Hmm, so the Navy is developing...............
So some guy Statistician who cough cough [ever notice this trend] just happens to retire from MUFON, raised some sort of shock throughout the UFO
world in 2018 when he said that sightings have significantly dropped. Oh really? Here's the link:
gizmodo.com...
Yes, it was picked up and reported on by another OP here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
Yet in 2019 the US NAVY is proceeding forward? As an Engineer, I went to Graduate school for a Masters in Business Administration [MBA]. It was
ranked among the Top 50 schools in the world for MBA by US News & World Report and we used many Case Studies as published by Stanford and Harvard
University. In business, heavy use of Statistics and Statistical analysis is the norm. In my career in business I also taught 100's of employees
Metrology and Statistical Process Control. I am not a Statistician but I can apply it to manufacturing processes and it can also be applied to Social
issues or to the point; UFO sightings.
Metrology is the science of measurement. It establishes a common understanding of units, crucial in linking human activities. Modern metrology has its
roots in the French Revolution's political motivation to standardize units in France, when a length standard taken from a natural source was
proposed.
My point is why is it that NUFORC & MUFON and others never publish any charts, graphs or statistics on UFO sightings. Oh they have their database but
that's all I could find. However no one outside of a couple of married women in Syracuse, New York ever tried to compile the data into statistical
trends or probabilities. I mean no concentration diagrams, regression analysis, Weibull Analysis nor any use of predictive software to possibly
predict and determine the next when and where these things may show up. Ever hear of the Skunk Works? How about Dr. Robert B. Abernathy. How about the
SR78 Blackbird. Anyone?
Well back in the day I was a Director in Senior Management. As a new hire we had a serious warranty product failure situation in a rotating Electro
mechanical device across the Globe that was costing millions of dollars in loss annually. I wanted the best predictive software available to determine
cause and effect in addition to future prediction of the next when and where and cost. So I called Harvard who directed me to Abernethy. He let us use
his software pro bono. I can’t recall whether it was the full SR 78 Monty but we ran with it and our programmers developed a software program that
linked our customers 10,000+ global dealerships to our Excel database via MS Access and linked it to Abernathy's Weibull software. It was excellent
and worked “back in the day” in real time. Now, I can obtain NUFORC data as I can cut and paste their data into an Excel spreadsheet. I just did
it. I also have the entire "back in the day" software program on a computer disk somewhere. I also may reach out to the original Senior Programmer who
wrote the code and put the entire "back in the day" software alive. Too bad that Isaac Koi was run off by others. I will reach out to him via his
website.
In brief in my opine we have been led astray by the UFO "experts" as we are not much further than 1947 and many PHD's were involved. Possibly by
ignorance or possibly by the control of others they just kept on pushing stuff. Software such as described above is probably present among all major
players throughout the world. Robert Bigelow should have it. So let’s see what happens.
