I keep on reading stories like this in the media etc but I have yet to meet or speak to one single person, (is that gender neutral enough?), who holds anything even remotely resembling these views.

How has this even become a social justice needing action? If your job opening is high pressure, stressful, requires quick analytical thinking and can be full on at times.... then you need an applicant with those attributes. People who are nervous about that kind of job description probably shouldn't apply and most likely wouldn't get the job.

Soon, you won't be able to reject peoples job applications in fear of upsetting them.

Todays front page news paper (in an Australian city) is a 4 page spread on the new royal baby..... the ROYAL BABY!!!!!... Alexander Downer (a previous high profile Aus politician) has just been outed as a US intel drone who played a big part in framing the US president for treason.. yet, we have a 4 page expose on a british baby....

we are breeding a dangerous future and sleep walking into societies demise.

Your title should be What is Happening to Tech/Digi Society! A troubled slice of the pie, not the whole pie. Let's keep this in perspective.

If women become more like men within tech/digi fields, such as competitive and challenging, they will be judged as bossy and aggressive...and other negative descriptions. The paradox still exists.

The paradox is that women are encouraged to speak up and be seen, but when they do they are often viewed as bossy or aggressive. The best solution is helping all genders better understand ways of working and agree on rules of engagement around communications, feedback, collaboration, etc. Ultimately, we want to expand our network across all groups, rather than limit it to only people like ourselves.

So, I would rather see typically male-dominated job ads use words such as 'team player' 'trailblazer' 'cooperative' 'guru' etc.
