In '74, went to a B.O.C. concert in Columbia. Opened with Suzi Quatro. As she started, people were noisy and not paying much attention but halfway
through her first song, the audience got quiet! We were wondering where all that singing was coming from! She was four foot nothing and belted out
song after song and never missed a beat. We, the audience got her back out twice for encores!
Then Blue Oyster Cult came out, or I should say they staggered out one at a time. When the drummer got out he immediately puked all over his drums.
About 20 minutes later, they started to play. I think the first song was "Don't Fear the Reaper" but I couldn't swear to it. They. Sucked. Big.
Time.
We started booing them off the stage. The lead, whoever he was, started cussing the audience swearing they would never come back. We started stomping
and screaming Suzi! Suzi! She came back out and did about 45 minutes more. I'll never forget that (even though I had been
