Cool, what if matter and consciousness are symbiotic to one another and are destined to push and pull each another in upwards spiral towards an absolute.

Definitely. So why even appease a theory that insists that consciousness is the result of matter?

Being is to becoming, as knowledge is to faith.

We know because God came down in human form to tell us the way and truth of humankind.

It is like shooting at a target in the dark and not knowing if you hit it until the light appears. When you hit it, the light appears. Although you can't see it, you can feel yourself getting closer as you continue to try for it. The Christian philosophy illuminates to the light of eternal life. Even Jesus fell multiple times during his ascension up to the place of the skull. Simon is your helper - his name means "to listen/hearken".

Yes that's how the gift of God is hidden until you find it. God is eager to reveal it. God's eagerness for us to be cured is like a doctor who has a cure for someone, but the sick person's self-righteousness prevents them from conceiving the good news. This is why the down-trodden and homeless were the first to get into the kingdom because they had no preconceptions at all. This is also why the "experts of the Law" hated him so much.

One must become like a young child to enter the kingdom.

What is happening is the kingdom... simply this that is. However the idea of time and you in time, makes for stories about other... and this is why the sensational life is missed.
And if there is feeling/sensation it is not wanted..... the op wants to rid theirself of uncomfortable feelings.... and is looking to get rid if them.

Look directly at sensation because life is alive.... it is not a story made if words.... life is non conceptual.

in life you are more "enlightened" as an adult than a toddler correct?

When a baby is born it does not feel separate from life.... a sense of separation happens around the age of 18 months..... that is why the terrible twos occur. Prior to that they live in the garden of Eden... in paradise.
Every adult is seeking for paradise....they wish to return to that state of innocence.

Are you really separate from life?
The feelings that you experience are life......... but what are you?
Can the feeler be found? Or is the feeler of feelings just an assumption?
Can the one that suffers actually be found?

Swap out medication for MEDITATION and watch all your concerns fade away.

What does it mean to meditate? One dictionary defines the word as “to focus one’s thoughts on: reflect on or ponder over.” And the word “ponder” means “to think about: reflect on . . . to think or consider especially quietly, soberly, and deeply.”

Meditation takes many forms, a number of which have roots in ancient Eastern religions. “The mind has to be empty to see clearly,” said one writer on the subject. His words reflect the view that emptying the mind while focusing on certain words or images promotes inner peace, mental clarity, and spiritual enlightenment.

The Bible puts a high value on meditation. (1 Timothy 4:15) The kind of meditation that it encourages, however, does not entail emptying the mind or repeating a certain word or phrase, sometimes called a mantra. Rather, Biblical meditation involves purposeful thinking on wholesome topics, such as God’s qualities, standards, and creations. “I meditate on all your activity; I eagerly ponder over the work of your hands,” prayed a faithful man of God. (Psalm 143:5) He also said: “I remember you while upon my bed; I meditate on you during the watches of the night.”—Psalm 63:6.

To meditate means to focus your thoughts and to reflect on or ponder over something, be it good or bad. (Ps. 77:12; Prov. 24:1, 2) Some bad meditations are not mere passing thoughts. They are deeply rooted in the heart, their inclination being toward a wicked pursuit. The writer of Proverbs says of such men: “Despoiling is what their heart keeps meditating, and trouble is what their own lips keep speaking.”—Pr 24:2.

Jesus said to those hating him: “Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts?” (Mr 2:8) Of all who would ‘suppress the truth in an unrighteous way,’ the apostle Paul says: “They became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened.” Such meditation proves fatal to those indulging in it.—Ro 1:18, 21.

“The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?”—Jeremiah 17:9.

“From inside, out of the heart of men, come injurious reasonings, sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, greed, acts of wickedness, deceit, brazen conduct, an envious eye, . . . and unreasonableness.” (Mark 7:21, 22) Yes, like a fire, meditation must be controlled. Otherwise, improper thoughts could nurture hurtful desires that might race out of control and lead to evil deeds.—James 1:14, 15.

Accordingly, the Bible encourages us to meditate on ‘things that are true, righteous, pure, lovable, well-spoken-of, virtuous, and praiseworthy.’ (Philippians 4:8, 9)

These kingdoms you speak of if you only believe in one, then maybe you are just creating another prison to go to once you escape this one.

Meditating on God's qualities and creations is seeing and hearing what is here to be seen and heard.... Those that have ears hear.... Those that have eyes see.
But generally what is here is missed because most individuals look in time to what is to come or what has passed..... Where is the past and where is the future? Only in mind stories.... and mind stories are about fear and trying to secure yourself.

Imagine how peaceful life would be if there was no past or future to think about.

Is reasoning required to see and hear or to feel?
Sensation is happening without reason.

Reason is what we use to make sense of what we feel, hear and see.

The way I read your previous post was... reasoning is not advised.

Sensation is sensing.....seeing hearing touch. A story (reasoning) leads one astray.

Can you understand a feeling?

The words are like a sign pointing to the top of the mountain, and should never be mistaken for the actual top of the mountain.

I find your thoughts to be very well articulated, but to just comment on the above, as I am inclined to believe the OP was about the negatives... the pain or suffering from present symptoms... and from personal experience, I must ask....

When one is in distress in the now, how does blocking out both future and past diminish that pain?

The past can be reached for to obtain pleasurable memories of times past that this current suffering did not inhabit.

The future can be harnessed as an ideal place to arrive at that will not contain these present sufferings, even if that future is a faith in something such as an afterlife, with the creators promise of “no more tears” or other such beliefs.

I guess for lack of better terms I have always missed the ability to fully appreciate the now if it was full of pain.

Without anything on either side of the painful now, wouldn’t it leave the mind contemplating that perhaps this shall be eternity?

interesting dialogue you guys have going. Sorry to intrude.

The past and future do not need blocking out.... because they do not actually exist now..... what does exist is the feeling.... the feeling is light (I provided a video in this thread where a lady looked directly at the pain and tells what she experienced).

If there is a direct looking into the discomfort there is no mind stories appearing.
And a lot of dis-ease (discomfort) comes from the idea that says 'this should not be happening....it should be different'.
What is happening is missed/denied in favour of something which isn't..... the past is not happening and the future is not happening.

Please listen to this talk by Peter Brown and the other one I posted to get a better grip on what I am saying.

Life is sensation...... sensation is light.
The light is always present and is constantly changing....it appears as everything... including what has been named pain.

The op believes that there are negative feelings and there is no such thing as negative feelings.... they are just feelings... the energy/body is contracted and looking directly at the feeling will disolve the contraction.....thought stories will not remove the contraction because they are looking in the wrong place... in time... not in the body but in the head.

I hope I answered your questions. I recommend listening to Peter Brown..and maybe visit his website 'The Open Doorway'.
Please let me know what thoughts you have.

I had tons of anxiety and depression.

During the whole mess i found out that if you have bad candida (candida is like the gut flora but instead of it being "proactive good gut bacteria" it is bad gut bacteria aka gut flora, and it wraps around your entire gut. Guess where 95% of seratonin (the feel good mood stabiliser is created?.. its in the gut). And the bad Candida stops it being produced.

Taking some herbal supplements from dr morse called parasite m cleared me up. I hadnt felt that good in over a decade as my nad candida died and my gut started producing 95% more seratonin. Felt that way for 3 weeks.

Read some more about things. Tried a liquid product called Restore on iherbs dot com. It was slow to work but after a week on it felt so much clearer in thought. Turns out i had leaky gut syndrome and it helped my clarity of thought getting better every day up to about 6 weeks. Good for gut bacteria, leaky guy, inflamation.

Before these two things i found that anti depressant meds called venlafaxine was really good.

Also went to a psychiatrist and got on to gabapentin which really helped me come out of my shell. But you can always buy Gaba pills from iherb to help with the mood. 5htp helps too.

Highly recommend parasite m, and restore
They are not pharmaceuticals. But when taking parasite m also try add some probiotic. Though restore should actually help with that.

That is physical stuff.

If you want to talk about enlightenment in a spiritual sense then i would search you tube for actualized dot org and also for tantric academy (david r. HawkinS awakening) enlightenment academy. Check out some of their videos. Also understand that drom my 20 plus years of reading up on what is reality, the closest answer i have come to is that reality is Consciousness. Consciousness exists in all of time, padt, present, future, all at the same time. But dont worry about the past or the future. Just be in the moment aka...the present. To do that you need to be aware in the moment. The present. Very hard to constantly do. We basically essentially kind of go on autopilot all the time.

But imagine only one thing existing and it creates everything in all of reality. Its called consciousness. Consciousness it God. You ARE and CREATE all of everything and reality. You want different experiences and you choose to forget to have new experiences.

Ciao
