Remakes???

Now, I'm not real fond of remakes, but there are some good ones out there.

Yea, I see that you mean songs so I am gonna be off topic; however, with that said let me agree with your sentiments and actually I will expand that a bit...not just music but nothing in the realm of po culture should be remade.

Hold off a sec on the fact for a sec that they always do a terrible job, but first simply consider...were talkin pop culture works.

That means pretty much crap in all reality . Seriously, nothing high culture or trulybinnovative happens anymore nothing spiritually enlightening nothing that comes anywhere near quarter mile tall pyramids which worked with electric currents and possibly sound healing... Nothing like the ancient temples of India where you could find suggestions of time travel stories and carvings of animals which have been extinct for millions of years and DNA Helix has and specially a mathematic and geometric relationship to farthest reaches of the universe itself goes right into the stone.

we're talking about modern CRAP we're talking modern film pop music best selling books really the s*** that people come up with today so when we're beng resold remakes,i you're picking from the very very top those few things there actually significant to the culture identity of each generation to remake. Things that have deep nostalgic meaning to peple of te time, and really what is the Remake is just so much better that's so unfair to the original producer of the work because to him it was lightning in a bottle to the next person I love the product might be better according to popular vote originality to it and instead of lightning in a bottle and just have some Joe Schmo you lucked out with somebody else's material .

Am Iright or what tho... its always the already veryh rare gems that are remade thy never do what theu SHOULD which is it had absolute potential but was done wrong and execute it correctly this time. kind of like the opposite of that lady in Spain who has a favor to her church restored a renaissance Painting of Christ LOL

it's either that or they take the important little pieces of nostalgia from people's childhood my dad has anybody seen the upcoming movies for example for Disney literally this year alone you have a remake of The Lion King I guess with real people then you have a remaking of Aladdin with real peopl thene of The Little Mermaid with real people...we just went thru that mary Poppins remake... well I didn't see it but I'm sure it sucked. l [editedby]edit on 5/5/2019 by AlexandrosTheGreat because: (no reason given)
