How many times have you seen a thread start with "Well, if this is true, it will be terrible!" or "This sounds a little fishy but I'll post it
anyway?"
I've seen it quite a few times.
And every time I think to myself... if you - the poster - don't trust the source at all, and you don't believe that what you're posting can truly be
said to have happened... why are you posting it?
If you have to say 'well, if this turns out true' just assume it is not true, and do yourself and all of us a favor and don't post it.
People seem to be so after Likes and Stars and Flags and whatever dopamine rush they're addicted to, that they are knowingly posting crap. And admit
to it. And at the same time give clicks and funding to whatever crap source they just enabled to operate for another month or two.
This is not helping this website with the quality of content... at all. And it seems to just encourage others to take it down a step each time. I know
I'm a nobody here, but I'd really encourage those that read this rant - if you're in doubt if what you're posting is true or not, and it can't be
easily verified by other sources - just don't post it.
Make ATS great again!
