All kidding aside, it seems like a play for publicaity by this author, nothing more. HTS did say things against the government, but so do people on this iste and tehy are STILL around....

Homeland Security Killed hunter thompson because he was getting ready to print pictures and a news story about hillery clinton's lover susen and here secret serivce female escort that was providing services to hillery on tax payers expense. The story was going to be printed in rolling stone mag here last week.

I don't think this is a very authentic source but according to Wikipedia [ yeah! Wikipedia ! ]

Thompson died at his fortified compound in Woody Creek, Colorado, on February 20, 2005 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was 67 years old.

Thompson's son (Juan), daughter-in-law (Jennifer Winkel Thompson), and grandson (Will Thompson) were visiting for the weekend at the time of his suicide. Will and Jennifer were in the adjacent room when they heard the gunshot. They reported to the press that they do not believe his suicide was out of desperation, but was a well-thought-out act resulting from Thompson's many painful medical conditions.1 Thompson's wife, Anita, who was at the gym at the time of her husband's death, was on the phone with Thompson when he ended his life.

This says that his son and daughter inlaw were at home at the time and HST's suicide was 'well-thought out' . Now that leads me to believe in two possibilites
1) After living a life full of drugs, alcohol and over the top sleaze he just thought it was about time to get off this ride.
2) He was killed so that he could be silenced and his family were also involved as they were present in his house at the same time he killed himself!

If the government/illuminati/NWO crowd was afraid of a drug addicted, unstable, hallucinatory "journalist" blowing ther cover, they must be off thier medications. Hunter was funnier than hell, but a major goof, and if anyone took his reporting seriously, they are seriously stupid.

This weekend I pulled out my old copy of HST's The Great Shark Hunt, and as I was reading the "Author's Note" I was shocked. There it was in black and white! Hunter's ultimate plan to end his own life! No one should be surprised by this. The man lived his life his way, and he ended it the same, his way.
