"Not Secure"

In my address bar it states that this website is "Not Secure". Has it always been this way? I can't remember. What do I need to be concerned about this. Sorry, I'm unable to upload a picture, I'm on mobile.

Above Top Secret does not use secure connections for whatever reason.

Shouldn't be too concerning since you're not really sharing crucial data with ATS anyway.

Yes it has always been this way, but the browser is now making this more clear.

The owners do not feed the need to pay for a $50 certificate to encrypt data between us and the server, yet were happy to solicit donations a couple years ago.

Why encrypt data that is posted to a public forum anyway, seems like it would be a waste of money.

Somewhat vague. Seems silly to me but oh well.

The owners really need to fix the fact that the site for the most part shuts down for 5 mins every hour at :27 mins past the hour. Sorry to harp on ya guys but its a royal PIA and is ridiculous having to leave the site in order to keep my sanity. Once a day or every 12 hrs would be tolerable but every hr? C'mon, that's just inexcusable for a site of this stature.

SSL is fairly cheap. Wonder why ATS doesn't have it? Odd

This is a dead horse that has been beat many times on ATS with many other threads with official answers from the owners already. Please look for them.
