That happened to me when I was in fb years ago, but I had accumulated millions of chips on the poker game and some scoundrel wanted to steal them from my account, so got sent a fake FB message looking for my password an username lol
I was to wise for that old trick

Sure, but how do we fight hate speech?

First by not using that word for something that is not

Yes it only takes once for some people to wise up to the tactics, not so much for most unfortunately who fall for it over and over. Those are the people they're counting on most, the ones not paying attention.

I do have an account but rarely log in and never post on it.

When I try to login on anything but my phone it always asks me to verify who I am via my phone number, dodgy as hell.
While on the topic of dodgy, does ATS still require FB details for new members?
I would never have signed up if that was a requirement when I did, its a conspiracy site fecks sake!!!

Also why is ATS the only site on what seems to be the entire web that has that big red "not secure" msg on my browser bar?

Wanna see something creepy? Here's the advertisement I got while reading this thread...

ETA thumbnail to see full size pic.

Nah that's not creepy, it's called targeted advertising. It scraped the page to show relevant ads to the content on the page. It's always been like this LOL

That's called re targeted advertising. It has to do with your cookies. No conspiracy.
