For those that don't want to check out the link, as a suspect was being pulled over, officers observed him throwing something from the vehicle, after he was in custody, one officer went looking for the tossed items while the other was in control of the suspect...that's when a group of apparently armed thugs surrounded the officer & took away the suspect in custody under the threat of force...there's audio from the officers interaction with dispatch in the article below.

Being a Chicagoan and living fairly close to the area in question, the westside aka Austin is closer to third world than it is western civilization imho. It actually used to be a nice middle class community back in the 60s/70s, but white flight, crime, etc drove it into the ground.

The area now is basically a large ghetto. There is little to no amenities (grocery stores, etc). Just blocks and blocks of section 8, low income, and dilapidated housing. The demographic of the area is mostly black, but there is a growing Hispanic population.

Gangs in Chicago are like little league baseball. If you are a teen male, you have to rep some gang set even if you don't want to. End of discussion. The gangs themselves aren't even that large anymore or under any real "leadership." Most are just small crews of hoodlums (think less than 20).

It doesn't surprise me something like this happened. The police are in a no win situation. The local drug dealers / gang members are lionized in the neighborhoods. Despite what you may hear some black community leaders claim, these neighborhoods have no problems with these thugs.

The only way to fix this is to wall off these communities (which Chicago has done in a way). They need to aggressively go after the current gang members. Finally, they have to stop the hoodrats from breeding for fatherless kids. An entire generation is lost in these communities. You literally have to start from scratch.

Why not teach the Gangbangers to freaking flip houses like all the white-trash and Rainbow con-jobs we see on Television doing it every day.Then they would re-build their own neighborhoods.Share the money....they are taking a share anyways....give them more....their Families need more so give them work and money.From what I see outside the looking glass the American African has a unique identity that is rooted in crime and gangs....their need to be individual has leaned to the gangster because they have been societally manipulated to have this happen....it is a massive impediment because they all RELATE TO IT....its speech...its clothes...its accepted deadbeat parenting where the women do not turn off the loving when there is no food or jobs or hope....we have all these same problems in Canada already with lots of people from different Cultural groups........kids are born dads are jailed moms are on welfare trying to do minimum wage jobs to survive and the cycle continues....but its the PEOPLE THEMSELVES WHO HAVE TO INITIATE CHANGES...I believe the Religious leaders of this segment of our Society are in a large way responsible for this situation they use it and maintain it.....you see the reality is this.....yesterday in a Coffee Shop I saw a nice Couple with 2 kids in line....the Mother would have absolutely fit in ANYWHERE and so would the little girl have....but the Dad was 6'3 300lbs and he was wearing nice brand new GANGSTER TYPE CLOTHES/Bling the American Africans wear in America including the 100 dollar baseball hat sitting crooked on his head and freaking gold chains ..the and he had a little boy dressed exactly like him.... you see the Dad and Son would NOT FIT IN ANYWHERE AT ALL.....they STAND OUT LOUDLY.....its ok I am with it....and they will eventually change....I know because I have seen it happen lately....Canada is now being FLOODED with American Africans.....and the way you know 100% is the MEN REFUSE TO CHANGE......you can see them from a mile away with the silly Fashion Statements much in common with the Canadian Indiginous Peoples who do the same things AND THEIR WOMEN CHANGE BUT ACCEPT THEIR MEN BEING STANDOUT ....they will claim poverty but always find ways to dress how they want in the trendy statement clothes...maybe they will find happiness and success when they stop trying so hard to be different...and start trying as hard to be like everyone else.... Maybe if the WOMEN of these micro-cultures REJECTED the Gangster style and BS then the men would change...but if a grown woman accepts a 30 year old man into her home and bed who lacks the simple maturity to be wiling to dress appropriately and act appropriately...what does anyone expect to happen when kids are born and responsibility arises where NORMAL BEHAVIOURS ARE REQUIRED....30 year old Baby-Daddy will be filling out Application to work at fast food outlets for minimum wage walking around in his Gangster Clothes getting rejected time after time all the while CLAIMING POVERTY AND PREDJUDICE....while his wife and kids starve....till he feels he has a right to break the law to feed his babies...suckers are willing to do crimes but not willing to drop the big drama act surrounding the Cultural Norms Slave Trades embedded into them.....they WANTED THEM TO DRESS DIFFERENTLY SO IT WAS EASIER TO ROUND THEM UP IF THEY ESCAPED....and today we see the vestiges of this mind control still handicapping a segment of our society that is very important to us in every way.We need these people ON-BOARD....not dragging their feet....first you GIVE UP your want to be different....and you adapt....or you go extinct....the same rule applies to all races...anyone can do an Ancestors in the Attic trip and find pictures of their old relatives wearing all kinds of weird clothes HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO before they chose to assimilate.....but we do not fight to the death to wear those clothes today ourselves...when you move you adapt....its simple....the longer you fight it the more difficult your assimilation....you are supposed to WANT TO ADD your particular flavor to the entire dish....not do anything you can to keep it separate.
