Australia has no right to free speech unlike the USA
Censorship really pisses me off (off course there needs to be controls on child abuse material), Australia has no right to free speech unlike the USA so this is a dark tunnel we are heading down.....Take the guns but do not impinge on freedom of knowledge and expression.

If cops were already on scene six minutes after the first ermergency calls, how was the shooter able to make his 17-minute video and then escape unhindered?

According to the NY Times:
The police said a special armed tactical unit arrived at Al Noor Mosque four minutes after the first officers, or 10 minutes after the initial emergency call.

Ditto the London bombing , Sandy Hook ,Naval Yard shooting
The Navy Yard shooting? What was the drill going on with that one? I worked in the building right next to the one where the shooting occurred, when I was in the Navy. If you got there early enough, the best parking spots were up against that building.
But, since the shooting was on the Yard, it's not strange that a drill was happening. Drills are going on every day at military bases. So, was it an unusual or special drill, is that what you mean?
Australia does not have explicit freedom of speech in any constitutional or statutory declaration of rights, with the exception of political speech which is protected from criminal prosecution at common law per Australian Capital Television Pty Ltd v Commonwealth. There is however an implied freedom of speech that was recognised in Lange v Australian Broadcasting Corporation.[59]
