The FBI is working with the U.S. Postal Service to determine whether Empire actor Jussie Smollett sent himself a threatening letter in the days before the “hate crime” he is now under investigation for allegedly staging, two federal officials told ABC News Tuesday.
The district attorney could have just charged jussie. Due diligence was done by presenting this to the grand jury.
The only one alleging leaks surrounding the case is you. Unless you would like to produce a source saying such.

So you're advocating for the FBI to assert jurisdiction in a state level case?
The criminal justice system is comprised of three major institutions which process a case from inception, through trial, to punishment. A case begins with law enforcement officials, who investigate a crime and gather evidence to identify and use against the presumed perpetrator. The case continues with the court system, which weighs the evidence to determine if the defendant is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If so, the corrections system will use the means at their disposal, namely incarceration and probation, to punish and correct the behavior of the offender.
Do you think the fbi should give them lie test or that they should all three voluntarily submit to a lie test?

He had a cell phone. Why wouldn’t he call immediately while going to the nearest open store?
