I never realized it was difficult. Are you sure this isnt just code for "making it easier for illegal immigrants and other illegal voters, such as dead people, people voting multiple times in multiple districts, etc"?

What is difficult about it that needs an act of legislation to make it easier?

Let's be real guys, there are posters on here working directly for Russian, German, and Turkish propaganda outlets for the sake of influencing the American population here to subvert our beloved country with division. To me Germany and turkey are essentially both double agents now working with Russia.

This is in addition to the DNC hacks that also get paid to post. And I don't mean the members who just support their party of donkeys, I mean the actual short term posters who come on here, play reverse psychology about others who get paid to post, and typically have accounts typically younger than 6 months to a year.

It is actually a clever psy-op tactic designed to make it look like many woke people are flooding the board with their opinions and views. It is nothing more than more foreign and treasonous propaganda from our foreign and domestic rivals.

Makes it painful to even visit the board at this point. Luckily I am fifteen years strong in this bitch, and have seen every type of bs. Eventually you learn to recognize posting patterns, speech and grammar, favorite topics and one liners/sound bytes. It becomes second nature to see the same type of wording and sentence structure from new accounts reminiset of accounts with similar post activity as inactive accounts that were only active for a quarter before they go dormant and a new account with the same posting structure pops up pretending to be a new guy repeating the same tired crap as the last half dozen liars and fakers.

Whatever, this bill is doa, paid shills are a real thing, and the DNC will fail to overthrow America for their communist and islamofacist masters.

This is the text of the bill as of yesterday. Now, I have not yet read the whole thing, but I read enough in the very first section to make the above statement. This removes all possible voter ID laws.

It specifies that states must make Internet access to register available by Internet, and that only an electronic signature is required. For those who have a state ID with an electronic signature on file (read: citizens), that signature is used. For anyone else (read: non-citizens), they can mail in a copy of a handwritten signature, or they can just make an electronic 'mark' and then sign the roll at the polls.

Then it goes on to say the same services must be offered through an automated telephone access.

This is nothing more than a way to let all those illegal aliens vote.

Making it easier for illegals to vote is one thing they are trying to do, but perhaps even worse they are going after the 3/3 balance of party representation on the FEC board so they can make it partisan.. opening up the door to using it as a weapon to selectively target their enemies.

No way in hell this bill passes.

Rather than toss in a wall of text here, let me quote you the summary from Mother Jones about this bill:

These include nationwide automatic voter registration, Election Day registration, two weeks of early voting in every state, an end to aggressive voter purging, funding for states to adopt paper ballots, the restoration of voting rights for ex-felons, and declaring Election Day a federal holiday. While states control their voting laws, Congress has the power to set voting procedures for federal elections.

The bill would also target partisan gerrymandering by requiring independent commissions instead of state legislatures to draw congressional maps. Furthermore, the bill calls on Congress to restore the full strength of the Voting Rights Act at a future date, after the Supreme Court gutted it in 2013

So automatic voter registration... that'd eliminate voter drives and questionable registration because it'd be tied with you social security number. Two weeks of voting -- yes, please. A lot of low income jobs don't give a lot of time off, and a longer voting period (basically "early voting" like we have here in Texas) makes it possible or more people to vote. And Gerrymandering... oh yes, please! Have an independent commission redraw the lines (which are pretty darn stupid, let me tell you.

This bill does nothing that is claimed here. Same old BS. Should be thrown in the garbage.

Allow me to translate:

• nationwide automatic voter registration: according to the actual text of the bill, this is internet and telephone based and leaves loopholes in the ID requirements large enough to drive a team of semi's through... sideways. Not to mention it increases the likelihood of hacking exponentially.

The part of tax disclosures is unconstitutional. The only requirement, per the Constitution, to run for and be President is a natural born citizen and be at least 35 years old.

California tried to pass state legislation along the exact same lines and Gov. Brown refused to sign it saying it was unconstitutional. Who would have thought California would get this right.. Apparently the village idiot comes to the right conclusion before the Nobel Laureate.
