Some more juicy info. So much anticipation for this game. I must say that CDPR has certainly put themselves far and above the old timers such as Bethesda, EA and Blizzard IMHO.

Thanks for posting this. So psyched for CP77.

After playing through multiple Witcher titles, the 3rd installment really upped the anté for modern RPGs. The storytelling was such a step up. The adultness (for lack of a better word) was a step up. The combat took lessons from Dark Souls and added responsiveness and skill. The open world and variance was great. I've been waiting for this game since seeing the trailer when it first came out. But the tease of saying "when it's ready" is killing me! Does this mean that now we aren't necessarily looking at a 2019 release?

Ugh. Come on CDPR!

I personally don't care how long it takes.

Been around long enough to see good developers get rushed to the market and have their names/businesses tarnished and tanked because of it.

They've proved themselves with the Witcher series. To switch styling, and what may be a new genre, would be a massive feat in a market that is going in the complete opposite direction.

I know you're right. Of course I'd rather wait until it is completely ironed out. It's not like they are kicking out some Assassin's Creed rubber stamp here.

When they talked in the mini-doc about the difference between walking on foot vs. driving through a world and the size and scale of what that means I thought 'jesus, they are really going for it if they are going to make a living world that big'. Made me smile.

I can wait. Just excited.

I hear ya man.

IDK if the feature is still being worked on, but at least a year ago they were talking about having hubs/bars/tavern areas that would be online. When you went to those areas, you could meet with other folks. I thought that was kind of cool but dont' know if it got scrapped or not.

I have fallen out with gaming but seeing I used to play the pen and paper cyberpunk 2020 (just re bought the books to run a game for folk) I think I will get this game.

How big is this digital world supposed to be? It must be massive if it’s taking this long to create the game. That, or there are some major issues with its development.

I’m not a huge gamer, but I’d love to get into this one once it’s released.

Still got my eye on this one. Of course, I think my system will need a massive overhaul in order to support it. Definitely new graphics and new processor ... possibly new mobo too.

And then, since it doesn't seem to be kid friendly (no, I know it's not just from the gameplay reveal -- nudity and cussing), I'll be very limited in my play windows. My 8-year-old gets way too intrigued by online gunplay, and I don't want him looking at naked bodies in bath rubs. Not what I want to explain to him at the moment.
