I wonder how many years ATS has been doing the site backup at the bottom of every hour? I don't recall ATS quirkiness before 2018.

Definitely a recent thing a year or two, I too thought it was spotty internet, but never get the consistent hang ups like here on ATS.

I had a mouse that seemed to have a bad connection. Sometimes i would push the mouse button once but get those annoying double or triple accidental posts?

One thing i found was to tap the mouse key hard once and not press it.

The other thing i found was when i replaced the mouse the problem quit for a while till the mouse battries got low.

I read it was the server backing up and collating things for such things as RSS..

I'd get rid of the rss and stop causing problems for forum users, but then I'd also complain if things were lost after a DDOS.. what a pickle..

Actually, I wouldn't complain.. I'd rather most of my post were lost in a confused state of disrepair..
