Guessing they shifted it to another agency and claimed they shut it down... not a complete lie, but certainly not the truth.

Truth is it's all just a huge scam because they use the five eyes system to spy on each other circumventing domestic spying laws.

Even if they are detecting possible terrorist attacks they still have to let so many of them happen in order to keep justifying the program. If that makes sense.

The NSA and other agencies have traditionally just done anything they want behind the scenes with no legislation, no legal authorization, and zero oversight.
Classified it illegally, (because classification hides illegality).

I remember reading about the facility in Utah out in the middle of nowhere opening being a "Cloud and Data Center". Forgot the name off hand but that's where I was thinking.

Saw a comment about this today. Basically said "at the same time every day I rub one out in front of the kinect. One day the poor guy who has to watch this is going to quit or off himself."
