Hi!
As we know, in the times that we pass through the world is experiencing an intense economical competition. China is liberalising its economy and
growing at a monstrous speed. EU is strengthening Euro to gain the leadership of the global economy. India is also moving forward with its well
educated and English speaking workforce. The same can be said for the rest of the world.
On the other hand, US seems to spend its resources to military research, investment and war planning at a time when the other nations see military
spending as a burden that needs to be avoided. My question is; are the Americans making the correct strategic decisions? With a growing national debt
and strong economical competitors in the game, how will all those military spending contribute to the consolidation and maintenance of American
economical superiority?
We must not also forget that with the ending of the Cold War and large supply of cheap and high quality Russian weapons, no nation seems interested in
spending billions to buy the new state-or-art weapons US is currently developing.
