Perhaps Shallow Hal remote viewed them with his psychic powers and then Big Jim opened his mouth. But once again closed it again without uttering a word.

Has this been reported anywhere else other than TTSA's own press release (or sourced from it)?

I remember claims that they'd landed contracts with huge aeropsace companies in the past. Yet those same companies had not added anything on their own news feeds.

TTSA must have a huge contract with sheep farmers though.

MM as a UFOology researcher its important that you not be blinded by your prejudices.....its very important to take in information and critically assess it objectively... Lets see how this story develops...

The Army and a UFO Group Are Investigating Mysterious Technology

Well the old SOHB op worked again I see. But didn't stop you creating your own thread stirring up the sub-geniuses again.....

Its very important that we all take a step back and RE-EVALUATE TTSA..... here is the thing:

"It’s hard to know what to make of all this. The Army obviously thinks there's something worth sticking its reputation out for, but there isn't any evidence available to the public to justify its association with a UFO research group."

What reputation? The reputation for training soldiers who can pass through solid walls? Check it out at 0:53, I'll bet you didn't even think soldiers could pass through solid walls, didja?

The Men Who Stare at Goats was inspired by Jon Ronsons non-fiction bestseller of the same name

At 1:25 spoiler alert, the goat that dies isn't the goat he was staring at, and they never did an autopsy to see what the other goat actually died of. So I'm not sure what reputation your quote is talking about, how can it get any worse?

SOHB?
I tried to search it and came up with 4 hits but I am not sure what you mean, the first one?

SOHB: Sense of Humour Bypass
SOHB : South of Heaven Band (est. 1996)
SOHB: Safety and Occupational Health Branch
SOHB: Staff Officers Handbook

BREAKING NEWS

The U.S. Army has confirmed that it has signed a cooperative research deal with former Blink 182 frontman Tom DeLonge's To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, more commonly known as TTSA. Far better known for its activities investigating reports and sightings of UFOs, which are increasingly referred to as unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs, this new agreement covers research into metamaterials and other high technology fields that border on the realm of science fiction.

After reading for months and months how TTSA is a " entertainment " company it seems there is more to them than meets the eye.

From badufos post:

But they're basically fishing for government funds.

Exactly my thought, lol.

Puthoff and co have decades of experience in that area.

Will be interesting to see if the Army falls for their BS.

Good link!

Indeed it would seem TTSA is now mining the realm of applicable and available Gov't funding to continue. Insider knowledge of how Gov't Contracts and Grants work is probably why 1/2 of the retirees were recruited by TTSA.

Back when all this started, following the money led to lots of smoke & mirrors.
So same thing, different pot of gold they're after.

This is TTSA doing DIRDS but as a public "benefit organisation". At the expense of someone else....

CRADAs are unlike typical contracts and "no money exchanging hands at all" between the Army and TTSA under this present agreement, a public affairs officer at the GVSC told The War Zone. There is also "no articulated deliverable" and if a product comes out of this process, it will most likely be a written study or another similar type of report.

The SBIR has three total phases;

The SBIR Program is structured in three phases:

Phase I. The objective of Phase I is to establish the technical merit, feasibility, and commercial potential of the proposed R/R&D efforts and to determine the quality of performance of the small business awardee organization prior to providing further Federal support in Phase II. SBIR Phase I awards normally do not exceed $150,000 total costs for 6 months.

Phase II. The objective of Phase II is to continue the R/R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II. Only Phase I awardees are eligible for a Phase II award. SBIR Phase II awards normally do not exceed $1,000,000 total costs for 2 years.

Phase III. The objective of Phase III, where appropriate, is for the small business to pursue commercialization objectives resulting from the Phase I/II R/R&D activities. The SBIR program does not fund Phase III. Some Federal agencies, Phase III may involve follow-on non-SBIR funded R&D or production contracts for products, processes or services intended for use by the U.S. Government.

If the military/government had in it's possession something it had had kept secret but wanted to get out in the open, this would be a way to do it.

Of course this is nothing but an elaborate money making scheme for Tom DeLonge and some of his friends (who don't need the money in the first place) but for those who are willing to consider other possibilities and don't think cynicism equals intelligence, this would seem like a possible explanation for what's been happening for the last few years.

Yes, i think this is just a pathway to get technical breakthroughs out of secret projects and into the marketplace. Much of this will be weapons tech that the average Joe will not benefit from.

I also think it will be a major letdown for anyone waiting for flying saucers, intergalactic portals and 12 different species of aliens.

Exactly...the people on this thread that think this is an elaborate money making scheme are clueless.... I can state this as a fact....

Very possible. If you were open to speculation.

Would you go as far as to say as well that people have been hurt whilst this 'technology' was tested?

Maybe some people want that out in the open too and there is a battle going on inside the Pentagon....

Some day maybe we will get some real answers to what has been going on but I am skeptical:

Following the 9/11 attacks against the World Trade Center, Robinson was contacted by retired U.S Colonel John B. Alexander. Over the next several years, Robinson was put in contact with numerous senior U.S. intelligence officials, including Linton Wells II, and Christopher Mellon at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. During the 1990s DIA STAR GATE era, Wells sought to brief the Pentagon’s Andy Marshall on FENIKS (PHOENIX) devices, which may have been electromagnetic machines designed to induce paranormal states of consciousness, based upon sources and information contained in STAR GATE files. As a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Christopher Mellon was briefed on DIA’s paranormal efforts.
