I have sung that on a Music Talent show,, did well enough to think I had a chance and sing it out with a band I hang with sometimes. I do most of my singing in church or the car these days.
Pink Floyd is my favorite but John (Deuseldorf) Denver was my 1st favorite as a very young man.

There are a lot of great love songs. Here is one that I’ve enjoyed over the years... though it doesn’t hold a candle to the OP’s song.

Frank Sinatra had said "Something" by the Beatles, written by George Harrison...was the greatest love song ever written.

I tend to agree...and know as a musician...there are many more
