We are a four leaf clover
Us two with three apiece:
"I am the face that the world sees
But my friend makes me complete"
"I'm almost obscured- I sigh in relief
For I am not as beautiful as she."
One to lift and support
One to dazzle and shine
Trying to catch this beacon alight;
That you might see
You who thinks that we
Are nothing with only three.
Alas the lesson is learned
Only with the snap of unraveling fate.
Our lives caught up with a single pluck
The force that breaks us apart too great
To be bridged except in the space of thought
As silent horror strikes amidst tones of grief.
A moments pause
As we fall to the floor,
Tragedy replete
In the mind of the one whose carelessness
Bore the cause of our final plea.
"We only wanted to bring relief
From the hardships of that human world,
So if you would atone then speak:
That the world may know
That every clover shows
And brings luck to thee
