One Community is creating open source and free-shared resources and solutions for Highest Good food, energy, housing, education, for-profit and non-profit economics design, social architecture, fulfilled living, stewardship practices and more. The resources we are creating can be implemented as individual components or complete teacher/demonstration hubs, intentionally purposed to spin-off additional teacher/demonstration hubs as awareness and knowledge grow.

WHAT ONE COMMUNITY IS CREATING

I ran into this website after reading a thread here and searching the word walipini. The site has detailed plans on how to build many different types of aquapini and walipini.

Aquapini and Walipini Planting and Harvesting

There is a lot of great information on this site for survival and off the grid living. The site has open source plans on how to start and build a self sustaining community.

I did a few quick searches and can't come up with any third party info about One Community. It doesn't come up on a Wikipedia search.

I am afraid it might be too good to be true. Is this a cult or a NWO plan? Is anyone here familiar with One Community?

Glancing it over, it is a concept of true socialistic communes of self sufficiency. Also known as hippie communes in the 1960’s or utopian villages for a 19th Century variation. This is a 21st century attempt.

All of these require a like mindedness of the membership and acceptance of the leadership. These types of groups fail if leadership fails or dies. Or if scandal disrupts the mindset.

One of the on going problems is meeting financial insulation of the internal dynamics from the outside world such as property taxes, land purchases and importation of required goods that cannot be internally made and exporting desired products.

Often times the community produces food and furniture to be sold in local farmers markets. Toys and textiles (usually quilts and crochet items) are another seller. Other good ideas are an area on the edge of the property as market hub with a restaurant and general store for the outside public to come and purchase, perhaps charge admission to an educational work area to see blacksmithing, candle making, etc. that also markets those products.

The "highest good of all"? sounds just like "The Return of Jim Jones Part II"

They might as well throw up a big ass sign saying: All New Ager's welcome, any others don't even THINK about applying...

New Age "spirituality" is just another TRAP set by the elite and inventors of religion, for the purpose of social control. People who aren't buying mainstream religion are in danger of finding true unified consciousness, which is exactly what the elite don't want, so they created New Age religion to keep people trapped in the matrix of CONTROL. It's like a last ditch effort to hold people down, to keep the ones who are "getting away" from escaping their control.

The vast majority of new agers claim that they are "spiritual but not religious" but notice how so many new agers believe in Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and other "ascended masters" as "historical people." They're buying into bull# and believing in these mythic deities in the total and complete ABSENCE OF ALL EVIDENCE just the SAME as mainstream religious folks. Believing in fairy tales, myths and legends isn’t called being “enlightened” it’s called being gullible and living in the dark.

"New Age" Religion/Spirituality: Just more HYPOCRISY and MIND CONTROL

Mark Passio Mark talks about the "New" Age Movement as another Religion to control people's minds and prevent them from developing a deep understanding of Natural Law. If you have bought into the hype of the "New" Age Movement, this is a video that you need to see to understand how you are being deceived."

That's what I thought at first too, but it seems too organized to be lazy old stoned hippies

You may be right, some kind of cult or extreme religious group. I hope not, because it seems like a great plan. The strange thing is there is no 3d party info about the group that I could find.

I did a little sleuthing, this is as far as I got...

Jae Sabol is apparently the founder of One Community...

"One Community has identified the property capable of supporting our world changing vision and we are in the process of seeking the necessary funding to purchase it. Until we own the property, we are not disclosing the specific location to anyone outside of the Pioneer Team, but we are sharing the details of why we have chosen this property over all the others."

Beyond my hatred of being pissed on by a slowly drizzling "efficient" shower head, i am also offended by that weird New-Age cult lingo they use.

Moreover, who the # are they kidding about "Highest Good." Get your morals out of my face. Imagine being stuck on an island with some doe eyed beardo that wont stop talking like that. That's commune life in the worst way. If these people get land, there will be dogs fighting in their outhouse and chickens #ting in the children's play area. Which is really irritating after a while. So yea. Less image. More substance. I refuse to wade through the annoyingly optimistic flow charts to get to the actual plan. Feel free to enlighten me if it's cool.

I’m Jae, the founder of One Community. Someone emailed me this forum so I joined so I could comment here and address as many of the points as possible. I'll do this to the best of my ability in the order they were presented. If I miss any, feel free to ask your questions and I'll answer them as long as it seems productive.

Tony Hua and Jae Sabol are two of the founding members of One Community. Tony manages and operates the marketing and open source web optimization and Jae is the Executive Director and overall coordinator of the One Community project.

Dr. Mark Sabol – Transformational Educator: After years as a joyous father and co-founder and operator of a preschool daycare, Mark realized at age 38 that his purpose in life was to include children, teaching, and learning at an even more significant level. He completed his B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 1991 and began teaching in public schools. He now also holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Washington. Although he spent 7 years coordinating a family-literacy program for his school district, the classroom is Mark’s first love and he happily brings his decades of experience as a consultant to the developing One Community education program.
