There would need to be a cause for the entanglement naturally or artificially produced, in their simulation a working time machine which this being the most probable means of explaining how it worked with figuring out what made it work.

Time is the measure of movement over an interval. Their explanation is akin to bringing a piece of tape back onto itself and punching a hole between the layers. It also happens to be the same explaination given in many time travel tales. The movie Event Horizon uses it.

Quantum Entanglement would be the string analogy used in the TV show Quantum Leap although there was a mind swap of sorts to only Al could see because part of his brain was used in the machine as was Sam’s. Sam’s body remained in the present in the imaging chamber and only Al could see the person Sam replaced/possessed. Which was strange, but it is TV.

Both concepts use a two dimensional space or one dimensional space to represent space-time. I am saying space-time is more complex. A flexible spherical shape that contorts infinite amounts of influences upon it. The relative position of Mars tugging at the Earth for example or the gravitational attraction between other bodies. You can place your hands close together but not touching and body heat will warm the air between them over time. That slight heat increase with have an impact on air flow on a small level just like the flickering dance of a candle flame.

You project ''fuzzy' words, but that is expected.

Doesn't prove anything. Simulations can be wrong.
"Here we experimentally simulate the nonlinear behaviour of a qubit interacting unitarily with an older version of itself"

You speak truth, but it will be received as an attack on ego.

Please point out how the post you replied to was religious?

Do you need me to prove that now continually appears different?
Why not observe for yourself?

When is it not now in your experience?
Ask yourself as many times as you like...... Is it now now? Is it the past now? Is it the future now?

And notice that now constantly appears different.

There is a pub in town that has a sign above the bar.
FREE DRINKS FOR EVERYONE TOMORROW.
No free drinks are ever served.

Yesterday, next Tuesday, take your pick. LoL

"And notice that now constantly appears different."

Yes, things change, existence is not a blank piece of paper.

If its open past 12am i imagine a few souls have would have raised the point sometime around last orders, it technically being tomorrow.

Of course, the solution would be to simply offer a glass of water, as the signs not very specific. LoL

If there's a existing past There would have to be an infinite amount of them .. If you went to the past could you go to the past , Past . There would have to be a past for every millisecond of existence . You would never know if you are in the same timeline .

If it was possible it could not be the same timeline, else the potential for paradox may arise, which could quite possibly end the entire timeline, which may also somehow create a knock on effect where the rest are concerned.

If the multiverse is a tapestry nature simply cannot allow us to pull the threads.

It's still all just sheer speculation all the same.
