Tornado in Cuba hits Havana, killing at least 3 people

Havana, Cuba -- Cuba's president said Monday that a tornado had killed three people and injured 174 others in eastern Havana. The Cuban capital was battered late Sunday and early Monday by powerful winds and heavy rains. A blackout hit many Havana neighborhoods around 9 p.m.

Early Monday, President Miguel Diaz-Canel posted photos of himself on Twitter with rescue workers besides what appeared to be a vehicle overturned by the storm. Little further information about the storm appeared in state media.

A category 4 tornado ripped through Habana last night, January 28th at around 9 pm. This tornado is believed to have been the strongest one in a century, even stronger than the storm from 1993.

This is the first time a tornado occurs in Habana. Tornadoes have occurred in other areas like Camaguey, but not in Habana. Although most of the western media could not get pictures, friends and family members in Habana have been sending photos to family outside Cuba. 3 people died and 172 were hurt.

Many buildings, even the good ones that the elite in Cuba have, have been destroyed. Many cars/vehicles were turned over, or thrown against buildings. Lots of trees down, and there were at least 220,000 people without any electricity, and electricity is rationed in Cuba. There was rain and hail. The Cuban Institute of Meteorology (Insmet) states the tornado was formed by an "extratropical low that descended on the southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and moved towards the occidental part of Cuba."

If you have been noticing large amounts of volcanic activity,large quakes,just keep getting worse as well as stronger,the earth is losing it's magnetic surface,thing will continue to get worse till planet is devastated,and the truth is could happen any day now,within 3 yrs anyway

We getting really somewhat warm weather for this time of year here in Hiroshima. But what is happening summer doesn't really start till the mid of July or even in August these days. Strange weather that's for sure.
The thing most govts. aren't telling you is that weather patterns affect the way the human brain works. Hawaii's homeless is really a good social experiment and so is any other warm to hot weather for those living without shelter. Main issue is it makes people "lazy". Look at any major city around the world in undeveloped countries and just see the , well, you know what someone already says call it.
