Do threads closed for staff review ever get reopened?

Yesterday a really interesting thread got shut down and “closed for staff review”.

Just curious if threads ever actually get reopened after this review process and how long it might take.

Some times they do. Some times they don't.

ATS policy is that staff does not discuss issues that there might be with those members who are not involved. It serves no purpose for everyone on the boards to be all up in everyone's business.

The reasons for a thread closure can be many, and unless the issue can be resolved the thread might remain closed, or be removed from the boards.

While we understand that this can make member curious about what is going on, if it's not their thread they created, it's not any of their business, but is between ATS staff and the creator of the thread.
