I think you don't understand- before Trump was elected chaos WAS the plan. The whole idea of the MIC was to destabilise the region to ostensibly overthrow Assad but the real major goal was arms sales and war for profit. The US Gov loses money but not the contractors and weapons manufacturers, private players at the top.

That Trump wants to pull out is pissing off the MIC globalist elite thats why the 'liberals' are suddenly all for war

Exactly, we should have never been there. And, our funding and arming of the conflict has contributed to hundreds of thousands of Syrians dying..

Is i not in the interest of the US to have military bases or military personnel outside of the US. It is a waste of money and it never fixes the problem.
