Threats against the President, regardless if the person making them are serious or not, falls under secret service jurisdiction. Given the threats made against Obama and now Trump they have their hands full.

If they fail to follow up and something happens it wont be good.

For a similar incident regarding the Feds not doing their job after being informed of a threat and something bad happening look at the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Local law enforcement and the FBI office received warnings and ignored it.

The secret service agent should have said...

Threatening the President of the United States is a federal felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States". This also includes presidential candidates and former Presidents. The United States Secret Service investigates suspected violations of this law and monitors those who have a history of threatening the President.

Wonder if she will find herself grounded and on the no fly list as happened to many people during the Obama admin.?

Initially I thought this was about Obama due to scanning some of the comments a little too fast.

If this pic were in the OP, it would have been a little easier to understand...

I think most of us on ATS would rather just read the comments than watch a video...

What's with the questioning? This isn't a job interview. The woman broke the law, the instant they made visual contact she shoud have been face on the floor, in cuffs with her Miranda rights being read.

(meaning that, of course, they should have obtained a warrant with no problems whatsoever beforehand)

Pussy footing it is what gives people like this the brazenness to act out.

On a side note on an unrelated topic the British Parliament said no to Brexit in a major defeat for May. Another no cofidence vote on hert leadership is scheduled for tomorrow.
