This might come as a shock to Bush's backers, but this little deal that Russia made with Iran is but a not so subtle signal that Bush will not be
pushing his way through the ME as he might like to think. Any bombing of Iranian nuclear sites now will have to be covert or via Israel. Maybe UBL can
collect a check from Haliburton for the deed.
Many were not paying attention to what was going on over in the Asias while Bush was busy strutting his cockfeathers on Iraq, and neo-cons were all
aglow with the lovey dovey relationship between the two as portrayed from Crawford. The Arab nations were cementing their alliances, China and Russia
theirs, Germany, Russia, France and China theirs, China and Uzbekistan theirs. Deals were being struck for massive trade agreements between China and
Russia including military technology and development. These countries were obviously not willing to sit idly by and watch American hegemony inflitrate
the region, grab the oil and brandish military power in their backyards too. It was to be expected that none of these countries would lie down in
quiet acquiescence and was blatantly evident to those without tunnel vision what was behind the alliances.
Putin is a master politician and an highly intelligent man, bolstered by KGB trained mind, and is several steps ahead of Bush. This nuclear deal was
his hand coming up in front of George's face bringing him to a dead stop on his cowpoke talk on Iran, so he turned his sights on Syria instead.
We will see if within the coming few months, Russia and China start talks with Syria also.
