Castle in the sky

People often say your building castles in the sky
what's the point, why, why, why?
Because I love them, I reply.
They remind me of home
just like the earth
here we are floating
seemingly all alone.
In the open sky.
Like a ship in the ocean
But is it really so?
Or are we all together
on this floating balloon show.
Maybe if we all saw life this way
we would love and grow.
I don't know.
But I would rather see life
from this perspective.
The life is a bitch version
I am sure we all know.
For me its a time of letting go.
I hope and wish that one day
you are able and willing
To do so.
Take time to enjoy
the snow falling
the springtime blooming.
The dance of leaves in autumn
The paper moon's shimmering.
A small bird on a winter's morn.
An old building with a tree growing
from the cobblestone path.
A smiling face, a child on a swing.
All these bring to mind.
a planet with a heart.
