Except that I cannot delete your posts. It's not an apt comparison at all. Not only that, mods indulge themselves in massive overkill. For example, when a thread is obviously over the top, frequently other people weigh in with quite appropriate responses. But then along come the mods and what happens? The entire thread disappears, including the appropriate responses, some of which are very good. They could just close the thread and leave it as an example, but instead they nuke it, including all the self-policing that has happened.

The mods need moderating themselves. IMO, SOME of them are completely out of control. Why don't I just leave. Well, KKLOCO, just look at our respective records. I've invested exponentially more time in this site than you have. You've hardly posted at all. What contributions have you actually made? Any?

If you're that unhappy with how the ATS staff moderates and enforces owner policy of their privately owned forum/discussion board who's rules you agreed to when you became a member simply click on the arrow and yes......Log Off.

All of ATS staff and the owners of the site would rather you go some place that makes you happy. If that is no longer on on ATS, then please, by all means go to another place that makes you happy. We would never dream of holding you here against your will and forcing you to participate in a completely free (managed by a staff that works during their free time also completely for free) to the members but that costs the owners plenty of money to run.....if it makes you so unhappy.

Log off. Take a break. We'll keep the light on for you if you come back.

Or don't. In any case, be somewhere that makes you happy.
