One of the more pristine tombs has been found in Egypt. They are saying it has been undisturbed for at least 4400 years. The statues still are cover in paint and there are many hieroglyphs which are legible. The article is claiming this tomb dates back to the third ruler of the fifth dynasty called Neferirkare Kakai ...

They do expect to find more as only one sealed corridor has been explored if I read this correctly...

Egypt has taken a big hit with tourism these last few years so they are hoping this find will help bring back some visitors..

SAQQARA, Egypt (Reuters) - Egypt unveiled a well-preserved 4,400-year-old tomb decorated with hieroglyphs and statues south of Cairo on Saturday, and officials expect more discoveries when archaeologists excavate the site further in coming months.

The tomb was found in a buried ridge at the ancient necropolis of Saqqara. It was untouched and unlooted, Mostafa Waziri, secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, told reporters at the site. He described the find as "one of a kind in the last decades".
