The simple life has been overshadowed and discredited as a failed attempt of success.

I wholeheartedly disagree.

The more you have, the more can be taken away... right? So, keep it simple!

Focus time and attention where it’s needed most. Not on possessions or acquisitions!!!

Focus on family, relationships and friends.

Focus on self-sufficiency, so that you can help your friends, relationships and family once you are.

It's called Conservatism.

Buy land, and tools to work it.
Learn to grow food, and learn to solve your own problems.

The system isn't there to help you, it's there to tap into your potential and drain you, using you.
Rise above.

The more you have the more time and resources is spent taking care of it.

As I get older and nearer to death , one of the regrets I have is not keeping it more simple in regards to material things.

You can’t take any of it with you when you die.

I was thinking of this quote from the bible when I was posting mine.

It is so true !!! And like the OP said , let our treasures be in the loving relationships we have here on earth.

It’s time to make things right

I left a bad marriage and alot of money and materialistic things for a simpler life.

Best thing I ever did.

In the process I found the woman of my dreams. I am back to who I was.

Almost done with paying the price for leaving that life, like a vindictive wife , but karma is catching up to her. LOL !

Much happier now and the future looks to be awesome !
