A popular YouTuber experimented with the youtube recommend algorithm and discovered that it only takes someone to click on 8 videos before they go into a rabbit hole of conspiracy theory videos.

Algorithms are leading people towards information that paints a negative picture of the government. Which then prompts people to go out on their social media sises and spread their own opinions. Its all done so that other algorithms can data mine the information, its about keeping a pulse on what the nation is thinking for the sole purpose of compartmentalizing and steering people. Just one layer of social engeneering.
