Three consecutive images from the Johnson Ridge Observatory have captured a glowing emission that grew to a substantial size over a period of 10
minutes. This newest activity just occurred and was captured real-time at approximately 3:00 a.m. PST.
You may view the webcam real-time images from Johnson Ridge Observatory at
Mount Saint Helens
Eruption Watch. In addition, the USGS has a loop of today's images that contain the emission sequence at
einstein.atmos.colostate.edu... . This will eventually be replaced and no longer contain these images.
