Very recently I was sitting in my car around 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I was at a stoplight and I looked up into the scattered clouds. I saw what I can best describe is what you see during the night as a sattelite (moving the same speed and reflecting light)...except this was during broad daylight...I could not distinguish any features except that it was reflecting light and very high. Is it possible to see satelites during the day or was this something else?

Yes, Im sure it is. If it has fairly large reflective panels. Although, im not 100% certain.

Absolutely it is possible. I use the Heavens Above website, which has a table which predicts Iridium satellite orbits, to look for them. The 'flares' are often visible even during broad daylight. At night they are spectacular. Give it a look sometime.
