“Aaaarrggghhhh!” Came the blood curdling scream from behind the door.

I rushed in, ready for anything.

His head swung round, blades in hand, his narrow eyes looked worried. I had startled him.

There was a lot of blood.

“Ah, there you are, would you like to cut the cord, Sir?”

The end.

(Thought I would add my second entry whilst I had time).

I wondered where that was going until the moment where the cord was mentioned

I never cut the cords on any of mine. I pay taxes so that people with training can do it instead. Plus I always felt a bit ill being there at the time.

Hehe, just realised I spelled it wrong.

I cut the cord both times, first one I was so nervous I slipped and got the finger of the nurse

haha I believe it. all three times for me I was in a state. numbers 2 and 3 I made sure not to look at the business end though, number 1 nearly had me on the floor and I figured they had enough to keep them busy without me needing looking after.

Both of my experiences were cesareans. First was emergency (very very long horrible story with a happy ending that took three months to arrive), second was a planned c-section.

On both I sat next to the surgeon and was allowed to watch the entire procedures. I am mildly interested by surgery, it does make me feel a bit 'iffy' but I do like to watch! Just not on me please
