I think the key to first generation hibernation, might be with the subjects to be hibernated, I think the subject should have good amount of head fat
between the skull and the skin, Love sleep and can sleep for 10 to 12 hours no problem, pack on 25-35 extra pounds before leaving. Probably best to be
sleep deprived before initial takeoff along with a 20 mile treadmill run. A blood transfer before takeoff with lowered Red blood cells could provide a
deeper state of stasis along with a donation of a pint of blood before takeoff and then a maybe a turkey dinner
Throw in the latest Madden and between the 2 astronauts that should keep them busy for the next 6 months
