Russia/China Has Your Personal Information!

Scared? Yeah, me neither. Though, I'm a bit bummed that no one will do anything about this blatant invasion of privacy from every media giant out there. Maybe this will ring someone's bell....

Russia and China's 'attack on Google': Virtual wargame 'experiment' hits search giant with 'worst ever' internet hijack that intercepted search, cloud and business services

An internet traffic diversion disrupted Google services and re-routed its data

Major internet providers in China and Russia intercepted data from Google users

Attack may prelude more wide-scale attacks from the nations involved in future

Interruptions lasted for nearly 1.5 hours until 10:30pm GMT (5:30pm EST)

Google said it had no reason to believe the traffic hijacking was malicious

But hey... Google said it's totally cool so you shouldn't worry.... It was just minor stuff, like:

Information from users' Google searches, cloud-hosting services and the company's bundle of collaboration tools for businesses - known as G Suite - were all affected. Data belonging to users across the globe was intercepted by servers in Nigeria, China and Russia - including those run by major state-owned telecoms providers.

Wait... Did they say Nigeria? Do they even know what comes out of Nigeria? There is a reason why there is a word that is commonly used around the US.... Nigerian Scam!

Why do they think we have a name for that massive scam? Because it came from NIGERIA!

I guess out personal information is also disposable in times of war. lol

Yeah, I don't know what to think about this either. I'm somewhere between caring and not caring. More not caring. I'm honestly not even surprised. Maybe I should just start watching the weirdest fetish porn out there to really mess with them. Nah, probably wouldn't work. Fetishes are not surprising anymore today. Hell, I don't think anything is surprising today.

You're not joking here when you say that. I was on this website called Wish.com on a break at work and told a friend there were inexpensive cel phones/ipads stuff like that on it. He warned me not to buy. He said there was probably Government listening devices installed as most of this stuff is from China. I also know that it's being banned now in America but other Countries still haven't begun the banning .

The Internet is public facing and goes all around the world.

I wouldnt assume any sort of security and privacy unless you only access it over a VPN with other 'depersonalizing' stuff.

Basically if you could be safe, most Web functionality would be broken.

Easier just to never trust the web and not do dumb stuff there.
