What do you mean by , correct way to read?

As in, how to interpret?

Codex means, it’s a book.

Thelema is a philosophy that many people have written about. The word thelema is greek for “will”

They tend to put their personal wants and needs before things like social norms, traditions, and taboos. A phrase commonly associated with this type of thinking is “do as thou wilt” which has lately become recently, “do as thou wilt, though none be hurt” which is more asscoiated with new age teachers and modern pagans.

What exactly are you asking?

The axiom or underlying tenant of Thelema law equates to ""Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law".

Essentially a "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" type reasoning is at play.

I tend to agree with the ideology to a degree.

I think the thelema movement was started in the british colleges amongst the children of the upper class. It seems to be most popular with those who are in academic circles. Something akin to skull and bones with none of the officialness. The order of the golden dawn had been around for a while before crowley entered their ranks and forced his way to the top. (A very interesting story). They were all about fringe amateur egyptology in their own right. A lot of what they wrote about came from poor translations of ancient Egyptian artifacts.

Yep....and he lived and practiced sorcery in the Thelema Abbey. Boarded up now..the locals in town are hesitant to give directions to it. So many thrill seekers break in, paint symbols on walls and do rituals.

At least up to a couple yrs ago...

Those are well known parlor tricks. I hope you don’t treat videos like these as proof that super powers are real.

Reading these books should be enough to show you that they are just made up ideas. That none of these people had a grip on reality, and were happy to write about their fantasies as though they were factual. They are the david wilcox and linda moultan howe of those days.

Oy .. .thats going to take time. I was a member of the OTO years ago, but it did nothing for me in the end, so rather than pay to remain part of that group, I decided to go with something else.

Basically to gain an understanding of it, you will need to practice it to some extent.
