I'm so sorry you all had to go through all that, but happy for you that you had a good outcome.

I have never heard of this, and am now curious, you mentioned antibodies, so I wondered, does it affect nursing her as well?

Blood trasnfusion IN the womb? Followed by inducing prwgnancy and a C section?

Just think, 100 years ago none of that wouldve been possible.

Congratulations you must be amazed and this definitely feels like a miracle of sorts.

Thank you.

No, it doesn't affect nursing. The antibodies are only transferred through the bloodstream. She will need another transfusion within the next few weeks to ensure all the antibodies are gone. Once she's three months her own blood cells will kick in and fight back if still needed.

Yeah, it's amazing what they can do now and we definitely would have lost her if the transfusions were not available.

It does feel like a miracle and we will be taking extra special care of her!
