Whos playing DayZ on XB1?

Im looking to join up with fellow survivors in the vast, wilds Chernarus.
I made a post on the dayz forums looking to join up with others that play it as a Mil/Sim.
So far no the only group to get back to me was CZ which is a french speaking group.

I just finished getting geared at the Tisey Military base.
Ive been on the hunt for a suppressor for my IJ pistol since washing up on the beach.
Ive found every go dang attachment in the game except a stinking suppressor lol.

I try to avoid the KOS servers of 60 people and mostly try to stick to the 25 max.
Im still new to the game, but really enjoying it so far.
Would be even better to squad up with a group of 3 or 4 others, then possibly record and edit to make videos.
Similar to what M1ndr does.

Ive only been playing it for a little over a week. My first character got wiped right after I got geared.
They made dedicated servers for the xbox. So everyone's characters got wiped.

Then I had a rash of scum bags KOS before I could even get off the beach.
Then I spawned in a town and have been going since.
There is one crash that I noticed, which is when going through your inventory, using the coyote or alice backpack, the game can freeze if you have too much space.

Like if your pants, shirt, vest, bag, all have items in them.
If you go to the very bottom row in your inventory, it has frozen on me - needing to quit the game.

Oh also, every server was night time and pouring rain for a couple of days.
But they fixed that pretty quick.
That was right after getting the dedicated servers up.

Wow. Is it finally out of Alpha? Jesus Bohemia is like 2 years too late to capture the market. Like the poster above, i stopped years ago too.

If they finally rolled out cross platform then I will join ya. But man it’s been awhile.

It's now in Beta, supposedly. I was geeked about it 4 years ago, now not so much. It's become the new Duke Nukem Forever in my mind... when it finally goes solid state I expect it will suck.

Sadly I am doing extinction expansion right now for Ark.

Ya almost everything I’ve seen from 76 and beta players reviews were that it wasn’t very good. One or two people still holding out hope that the water graphics or some other trivial graphics get polished up by release. But I would be more concerned with story. I don’t like the idea of a fallout mmo. I think a great story can only be told by a well structured campaign.

After seen all the stuff around Arma 3 I’m so tempted to build a gaming pc. I had no idea the game was that freaking epic with mods

Yup. Single player might draw me in. I'll play for about 50 mins, get bored, then steam.... again. I didn't pay for it, it was gifted to me so no loss.

Sorry..as most cool people play Fortnite or BLOPS 4 these days lol

Honestly I bought BLOPs 4.
Played Blackout for about 5 rounds. Then played zombies.
Zombies is really fun. I’ve put some time into it.

But the battle royal is a joke. You get like a minute to find gear and then trek across the map to the zone.
Battle royal goes to PUBG.
At least you get time to find a decent load out and to travel.

As for fortnight... it’s a child’s game from what I seen.
my son was playing it on my Xbox with his friends.
It was soon deleted to make space for dayz

Unfortunately I'm a pc player.
You can craft a temp suppressor with duct tape and a water bottle.

DayZ is a great game.
I've had characters that survived for weeks / moths.
You become pretty attached. If you haven't yet, download the iZurvive application.

DayZ???
And then even on a "gaming" box?

Guess people that played DayZ years ago, for a short while, play SCUM now.

And wait for updates that add someting to the game that would make you play more then several hours, because there is nothing else to do in the game than to gear up and then to pewpewpew some "puppets" or other players besides walking, peeing, pooing and eating. With a massive lag, teleporting and rubberbanding for the PvP part, if there are more than ten people on such a damned G-Portal fraud server people are forced to use atm.

But still better than DayZ ever was and ever will be.

I have the water bottle dut tape suppressor on my M4.
Does it also work on pistols?!

I just found the Izurvive app the other day and downloaded it.
Very helpful little tool when combined with a compass.

It’s useless on larger calibres like the M4, use the improvised silencer on smaller pistols and small calibre rifles like the .22.

It degrades pretty quickly with use, but the smaller the calibre, the longer it lasts.
In my expereice at least.
