China's Xi calls for global cooperation to create 'fairer' internet

This in contrast to their need to Control everyone and everything that goes on, China are a Danger to World Sovereignty, Peace and Democracy. Trusting China would be the greatest Mistake North America could ever make.

WUZHEN, China (Reuters) - China’s President Xi Jinping called on Wednesday for greater global cooperation in developing the internet and make it more “fair and equitable”, as Beijing seeks to bolster its global role in shaping the web. The speech was read out on Xi’s behalf at China’s main internet conference in the northern city of Wuzhen, a tightly-controlled event organized by the cyber ministry that oversees the domestic internet and censors online content.

Fairer, but for who?

Not for the average Citizen, only for it's master. Little m intended, because the Human Race is only as weak and submissive as it allows itself to be.

Unironically Chinese-style internet censorship is exactly what Silicon Valley is striving for and already practices, which is pretty obvious considering the way they treat conservatives or anyone with opinions against the status quo.

Yes, because a fair internet is one that scores you against an Orwellian system that measures every word you use or don't use and then punishes you.

Think the FB logs ins for all social media are bad? This is a step up from that, likely gonna have the social score implemented in too.

China has the world's most controlled internet and press restrictions. The whole thing is designed to limit knowledge and access to the truth, build a false worldview, and turn the population into slaves and robots.

Very worrying and a model we should reject and ridicule.
